Park Jae Bum Opens Up On ′Taxi′

Wonder what former 2PM member Park Jae Bum′s life was like after 2PM?Park shared some of his story on the November 10 broadcast of tvN’s Taxi and revealed what he went through after coming to Korea from the States, going from trainee to 2PM leader to solo artist. The hosts of the talk show brought up the issue of Park leaving 2PM, saying, “We heard the story from the media, but we want to hear from you personally.” Park Jae Bum left for the States in 2009 after he was swept into a controversy over his negative remarks on Korea.

Jay Park to Put Up Special Performance of 90’s Hit Songs

Jay Park is planning to put on a special performance, where he will be reviving the hit songs of past dance performers.

Jay Park will be putting on the congratulatory performance at the “2011 Style Icon Awards” on November 3. He will be performing to Kim Sung Jae’s “If I Were to Say,” Yoo Seung Jun’s “Passion,” and CLON’s “Come Back,” three songs that shook the music industry in the 90’s.

Jay Park denies dating rumours

Korean-Amerian singer Jay Park (born Park Jaebeom) made an indirect denial of his dating rumour recently.

According to allkpop website, the singer was recently caught up in dating rumours when fans reportedly saw him get into a car with a CEO of a popular online shopping mall.

Jay Park Donates $21,000 to “2012 London Paralympic Athletes”

In 2012, London will be holding the Paralympics and the president of the Korea Sports Association for the Disabled (KOSAD), Seok Yong Yoon, put on a special event to celebrate and promote next year’s competition. The event was held on August 29th, marking the 365 countdown till the London event, and there was a friendly face who wanted to show his support.

The important event was watched by many but there was one person who has a strong, more personal connection to the event. Having been appointed honorary ambassador for the organization in 2010, Jay Park, has always been willing to lend his support. He has not just shown his face at events, but has gone a step further and reportedly donated approximately $21,000 USD in supplies for the athletes to use next year. He also sent a video of support at the event.

Jay Park is an example of going the extra mile to help people and do something good. He didn’t need to make such a generous donation but it just goes to show how seriously he takes his honorary ambassador position. What a generous guy!
