On the 28th, MBC said that they will air the eight-part special program, K-Pop Road Show 40120, that features the ‘K-Pop Cover Dance Festival’. The first part will air on September 22 at 11:00 p.m.
Singer Yoon Do Hyun is the host and 2PM, Super Junior, SNSD, B2ST, SHINee, KARA, miss A, T-ara, and many more will appear.
The festival is sponsored by the Visit Korea Committee and the winner will appear on the ‘Korean Wave Dream Concert’ in October in Gyeongju.
Over 1400 teams from 62 countries competed in the preliminaries by uploading videos on the event website. The finals will be held in America, Russia, Brazil, Japan and other countries next month. Juries will consist of popular Korean idol stars.
