The girl group Miss A has released an EP exclusively for sale in Hong Kong and Taiwan. The EP, entitled “Touch,” debuted on Friday and contains songs sung in both Korean and Chinese.

According to related officials, the stars have gathered for The Rainbow Project to inspire children from the slums of Africa to have dreams and more importantly achieve those dreams.

2011 Mnet Asian Music Awards to be Held in Singapore

We are pleased to share more exciting news for K-Pop fans in Singapore! This year’s 2011 Mnet Asian Music Awards will be held in Singapore on November 29, at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

For the second time, this major award show would be held outside of Korea. Last year’s award show was staged in Macau at The Venetian and boosted an impressive line up of 80 acts featuring Big Bang, 2NE1, Miss A and award presenters such as Yoon Eun Hye.

As informed by the local organizer, on the same day of the award show, fans around Asia can also catch it on television. Some networks will be having a live broadcast while others could have a 2-hour delayed telecast. Fans from Singapore may watch this on Channel U (2-hour delay telecast).

‘K-Pop Cover Dance Festival’ will air in September on MBC

On the 28th, MBC said that they will air the eight-part special program, K-Pop Road Show 40120, that features the ‘K-Pop Cover Dance Festival’. The first part will air on September 22 at 11:00 p.m.

Singer Yoon Do Hyun is the host and 2PM, Super Junior, SNSD, B2ST, SHINee, KARA, miss A, T-ara, and many more will appear.

The festival is sponsored by the Visit Korea Committee and the winner will appear on the ‘Korean Wave Dream Concert’ in October in Gyeongju.

Over 1400 teams from 62 countries competed in the preliminaries by uploading videos on the event website. The finals will be held in America, Russia, Brazil, Japan and other countries next month. Juries will consist of popular Korean idol stars.

JYP Nation Holds First Concert in Japan

JYP Entertainment held its first Japanese concert, “JYP Nation in Japan,” at the Saitama Super Arena on August 17th. For over three hours, all of the top JYP artists, including Park Jin Young, 2AM, 2PM, miss A, Wonder Girls, JOO, Lim Jeong Hee, and San E, went on stage to perform live and captivate the hearts of more than 12,000 fans in attendance.
