2011 Mnet Asian Music Awards to be Held in Singapore

We are pleased to share more exciting news for K-Pop fans in Singapore! This year’s 2011 Mnet Asian Music Awards will be held in Singapore on November 29, at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

For the second time, this major award show would be held outside of Korea. Last year’s award show was staged in Macau at The Venetian and boosted an impressive line up of 80 acts featuring Big Bang, 2NE1, Miss A and award presenters such as Yoon Eun Hye.

As informed by the local organizer, on the same day of the award show, fans around Asia can also catch it on television. Some networks will be having a live broadcast while others could have a 2-hour delayed telecast. Fans from Singapore may watch this on Channel U (2-hour delay telecast).

SNSD spotlighted in second teaser for MNet’s “BOOM the K-POP”

Popular Korean cable television channel Mnet is set to launch a new show titled “BOOM the K-POP,” spotlighting the rapid spread of the Hallyu Wave that has captured the hearts of countless international followers. SNSD will be featured in the series, as they are one of the girl groups currently leading the exceptional Hallyu Wave display in Japan.

This year’s “Mnet 20’s Choice” will be brought to you live on July 7^th from 6PM to 9PM through YouTube and Facebook. According to CJ E&M, the main organizer of the event, the fifth edition of “Mnet 20’s Choice” will be shown through Mnet’s official YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/Mnet) as well as CJ E&M’s official Facebook page (www.facebook.com/CJENMglobal), bringing every moment of the popular awards show to fans around the world. For those of you in Korea can watch the show on six channels (Mnet, KM, tvN, OnStyle, XTM, OnGameNet), as well as mnet.com and tving.com.
